They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger. . . . Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.Review: First of all, I always said, I was never going to read this book. For some reason the synopsis attracted me to buy this book. It had some parts that blew my mind away, and had me waiting for more. Overall, I liked this book. The writing was great and the plot was interesting and never boring. I didn't however enjoy everything about this book. Reason being, the author doesn't give much if any information about any of the backgrounds of characters and the academy. This made the book less engaging. Also, it is very slow moving into the plot, I suppose its, because its a series. However, I liked everything else and I'm going to keep reading the next 3 books that are already released. This book definitely left me waiting for the next books in this series.
